About Ash
Ash is currently pursuing a career in Family and Consumer Sciences (this used to be referred to as Home Ec.). She chose WSU because she was able to visit the campus while her friend was attending. She was able to take a tour and interact with students in the residence hall. It made the experience so much more real and homey and confirmed that Pullman was where she wanted to be. Ash’s advice to you is, “Use your resources! The Chem help center, writing center, and the free tutoring are extremely helpful when you’re struggling – I know they were for me.” Ash’s favorite spot to eat in Pullman is Zoe’s Coffee and Kitchen; a restaurant located super close to campus! You might find her hanging out at the top of the Terrell Holland Library, a neat spot that overlooks the football practice field. Ash decided to become an orientation counselor because her orientation left a very welcoming impact on her and she wants to be able to forward her experience to other incoming students. Ash is currently the President of Cougs Carry On; a club for previous foster and homeless youth. She also two dogs a lab mix and a hybrid wolf dog!
We hope you love Ash as much as we do!
