About Cecily

Before coming to WSU, one of my biggest concerns was figuring out how to get involved on campus. I knew I wanted to make the most of my college experience, but I wasn’t sure what opportunities were available or how to find organizations and activities that matched my interests. I was excited to meet new people and get connected, but I wasn’t sure where to start.

I attended orientation at the WSU Tri-Cities campus before transferring to Pullman. My orientation experience helped introduce me to campus resources and gave me a better understanding of how to navigate college life. It also showed me just how many opportunities there were to get involved and build a community. Because of that experience, I am excited to now help with the Pullman orientation program and support incoming students as they begin their own WSU journey.

Today, I am actively involved in a variety of organizations and activities across campus, something that has been made possible by the countless opportunities WSU offers students. I am pursuing degrees in both Biology and Psychology and plan to graduate in Spring 2027. Through my academic and extracurricular experiences, I have discovered new interests, built meaningful connections, and grown both personally and professionally. After graduation, I hope to continue my education by attending graduate school and exploring the many possibilities that lie ahead.
