About Evelyn

The thing I was most excited about during orientation was meeting new people, finding my community, and learning about the many resources available on campus. One thing I was a little anxious about was being away from my mom for two days, since it was one of the first times I had been away from home for that long.

My orientation experience was wonderful. I really enjoyed getting to know my orientation leader, who made the experience welcoming and enjoyable. The workshops were also very helpful and gave me a better understanding of what to expect as a student at WSU. By the end of orientation, I felt much more prepared and excited to start college.

Right now, I am considering double majoring in Architecture and Animal Science Pre-Veterinary Studies, along with a minor in Construction Management. I also work for the Social and Economic Sciences Research Center and serve as the Vice President of Public Relations for Stephenson Hall Government. After WSU, I hope to attend veterinary school and continue my education in animal science.
