The New Coug Webinar Series covers a variety of topics to help students prepare for orientation, move-in, and their first semester at WSU. Most webinars are open to students, family, and supporters.

These webinars are designed to supplement orientation programming. Attendance at a webinar(s) does NOT fulfill the New Coug Orientation requirement. All new students must attend a New Coug Orientation session.

Supporting your student through the college transition can raise a lot of questions. At Cougar Check-In: Family Panel, hear directly from parents of current WSU students as they reflect on what surprised them, what helped most, and what they wish they had known earlier. The session will also review important pre-orientation checklist items to ensure your student stays on track and fully prepared for their New Coug Orientation experience.

We’ll go over the process of submitting your financial aid application, tips and tricks for an easier time, and common issues students run into. We’ll also describe the general timeline for receiving your financial aid offer.
