Hawai‘i Orientation Program

What is Hawai‘i New Coug Orientation?

Hawai‘i New Coug Orientation is an orientation session created for Hawai‘i and Pacific Islander Cougs and their families hosted on the island of O‘ahu. The program centers on student experiences as they prepare for the transition to college and life in Pullman, WA.

New Coug Orientation is a required program for all new students. Hawai‘i New Coug Orientation is intended for students admitted to WSU for the Fall 2024 term. You’ll take part in learning modules, view college and department presentations, learn about student life, learn about campus resources, and meet with an academic advisor and finalize your class schedule. Attending Hawai‘i New Coug Orientation will fulfill your New Coug Orientation requirement. You will interact with current students and WSU Alumni from Hawai‘i who will guide you through the program. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, make new friends, and fully immerse yourself in being a Coug.
