About Jubayer

I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness starting this new chapter in my academic journey. Transferring to a larger university was exciting, but I was also adjusting to being far from home and settling into a completely new environment and culture.

My orientation experience felt a bit overwhelming at first, but it ultimately helped me feel more comfortable and prepared for my transition to WSU. Meeting my orientation leader and learning about campus resources made me more confident about starting this new chapter, and it even inspired me to support new students in the same way.

Now, I am majoring in Computer Science at WSU with minors in Mathematics and Business. I am actively involved on campus as an Orientation Leader and through the International Student Center, which has helped me build both leadership and community connections. After WSU, I hope to use my technical and leadership experience to build a career in the technology field and potentially continue on to graduate school.
