About Sarah

Coming from Spokane, I was both nervous and excited about starting at WSU, especially when it came to finding my place and making friends. Joining Panhellenic recruitment ended up being one of the best decisions I made, as it gave me a strong support system in my sisters. They’ve been a constant source of encouragement and have helped me feel at home while also supporting me through classes, campus involvement, and personal growth. Because of them, I gained the confidence to get involved in organizations like the Asian Pacific Islander Association and the Kinesiology Club, and I’m very grateful for the friendships that have shaped my experience.

My orientation experience was a great starting point for my time at WSU. Staying overnight in the residence halls helped me quickly feel more comfortable, and my orientation leader made a lasting impression on me with her kindness and support. She inspired me to become an orientation leader myself so I could provide that same experience for future students. I also formed genuine friendships during orientation that I still value today, and the experience overall helped me feel excited and prepared for college life.

Currently, I plan to apply to the athletic training program in Fall 2026. I am involved in Greek life, where I’ve also had meaningful volunteer experiences, including working at an animal shelter that led me to adopt my dog, Coco. I plan to graduate from the athletic training program by 2030 with a master’s in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training.
