About Carlos

When Carlos arrived for New Coug Orientation, it was his first time on campus. He quickly settled into the community and got involved with the WSU Wrestling and WSU Boxing teams. Carlos recommends New Cougs try to maintain a balance between schoolwork and free time, stay on top on your work, and take advantage of the free tutoring. The tutoring will help you better explain assignments that you do not fully understand to ensure your success in class.

Carlos’ favorite class was Anthropology 203: Global Cultural Diversity. He says the professor has an interactive teaching style that makes class fun and shares stories of how the material can apply in daily life. To him, the saying “Cougs Help Cougs” means a lot. The sentiment and community support behind the saying will stick with you for the rest of your life. The Coug community supports each other whether you’re a student, staff, faculty, or alumni.

We hope you love Carlos as much as we do!
