Week of Welcome Orientation

Session 12: August 15 – 16

Week of Welcome Orientation is only open to international and transfer students. This is a customized program that takes into consideration your previous experience, and will support your unique needs. This session will also incorporate Week of Welcome events where you will meet more new and current Cougs outside your orientation group!

Fall move-in is Saturday, August 10. Please be prepared to move in to your residence hall or apartment before orientation begins. No supplemental housing will be available for this session.

Students registered for WOW Orientation must complete advising and course registration before arriving for your session.

To access this opportunity follow these steps:

1. Confirm your enrollment at WSU.
2. Register for WOW Orientation, August 15-16.*
3. Complete your Pathway to Course Registration Modules. **
4. Schedule your advising appointment. ***
5. Attend New Coug Orientation.

*This session is only open to international and transfer students. Students participating in Fraternity/Sorority recruitment are not able to participate in WOW Orientation due to overlapping schedules.

Family and Supporter Orientation

On-site family and supporter orientation is not available during this session. We encourage you to learn more about the university, academics, and resources by attending our virtual sessions designed to help you support your new Coug. Registration information for virtual sessions will be sent to your student after registering for Week of Welcome Orientation.
