Las familias que hablan Español están invitados a La Bienvenida Orientación. Esta sesión de dos días ofrece información sobre la comunidad de WSU, los servicios y el apoyo disponibles en el campus de Pullman, WA. Esta sesión es completamente en español.

Los estudiantes que asistan a La Bienvenida pueden traer hasta 4 invitados esenciales con ellos. Los invitados incluyen padres, tutores, personas de apoyo esenciales y/o personas importantes que no pueden quedarse en casa, como niños pequeños. Se espera que todos los invitados registrados en La Bienvenida participen en la programación para aprender más sobre cómo apoyar a su New Coug en esta transición

La Bienvenida For Families

Spanish speaking families are invited to La Bievenida Orientation. This two-day session offers information around the WSU community, support services, and resources on the Pullman campus. The session for families is completely in Spanish. This is an overnight experience where you will have an opportunity to stay in our residence hall, eat at a dining center, and tour campus and resources available to your student.

Students attending La Bienvenida are welcome to bring up to 4 essential guests with them. Guests include parents, guardians, essential supporters, and/or important people who cannot be left home, such as young children. All guests registered for La Bienvenida are expected to participate in programming to learn more about how to support their new Coug in this transition.

La Bienvenida For Students

Students attending La Bienvenida will participate in WSU’s New Coug Orientation program which will be delivered in English. As a part of the New Coug Orientation experience, students are required to stay overnight in the residence halls.

New Coug Orientation is a required program for all new students. La Bienvenida is intended for students admitted to WSU for the Fall 2024 term. You’ll take part in learning modules, view college and department presentations, learn about student life, learn about campus resources, and prepare for advising and course registration. You will be placed in a small group of other New Cougs guided by an orientation counselor who is a current WSU student. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, make new friends, and fully immerse yourself in being a Coug in Pullman.
