About Chey

Chey chose to attend WSU because of the 3+2 master’s program in Athletic Training. She valued it’s the top AT program in the state and WSU provides you with 1:1 learning experiences with your classmates and professors. While she was nervous to start school, WSU made her transition easier because the Week of Welcome events helped her to gain friendships with other new Cougs who were feeling the same way. Now she says, “when I get to Pullman, I can’t help but smile because I’m home. It’s the sense of community belonging and realization that even though the journey is challenging at times, you will get to where you are meant to be.”

Chey became an OC because she wanted to be one of the first faces new students saw upon arrival. She’s looking forward to answering all the questions you may have and wanted to share her tips and tricks for navigating campus and Pullman. She recommends walking around campus to find all your class buildings AND rooms once you have your schedule. It will make your life so much easier the first week. You can put the names of the buildings into your phone and get directions that way!
