About Emma

Emma chose to attend WSU to fully immerse herself in the college experience. WSU had her preferred major and minor of psychology and criminology. While WSU is across the country from her hometown in New Jersey, she wanted to try something completely new, and WSU called her name! Emma has big dreams to earn a master’s and then a Ph.D in Psychology, and she saw how the Coug experience would help her achieve those goals.

Her experience so far has motivated her to become a more passionate Coug and represent the university in a positive light. Emma applied to be an OC to be able to give new Cougs the same welcoming experience she had during orientation. Coming from across the country, she didn’t know anyone at WSU and was scared. But, New Coug Orientation made the process of becoming acclimated to college far more seamless. Now Emma is involved in Girl Gains Club, in addition to working at Student Financial Services and as an orientation counselor.
