About Katelyn

Katelyn chose to be an OC because she loved her orientation experience, and wanted to give back while also helping students receive an amazing experience as well as enjoy their transition to college. Katelyn has quite a few hobbies which include violin, house plants, photography, and more! Her favorite thing about WSU is the sunsets!

Her favorite building on campus is Abelson Hall, because on the roof there is a greenhouse. Since Katelyn loves plants, she feels like this is a great place for her to go and get away and clear her mind after a long day. If you see Katelyn around campus, be sure to ask her what her favorite thing to get at Tan’s Chinese Restaurant is! Katelyn wants new Cougs to know, “It’s okay to change throughout your first few semesters of college, you don’t need to be the same person you were before this transition.”
