About Maddie

Maddie chose WSU because it was the best compromise between being close to home while also having some space away from home. Maddie’s favorite thing about living in Pullman is the fall farm scenery, and how beautiful it always is even though it can be shocking the first year here. Maddie chose WSU because wanting to be a teacher, many of the teachers they love got their undergraduate degrees here, and Maddie felt confident they would get a good education here as well and loves how passionate the professors they have are.

Maddie’s biggest piece of advice with moving in to the residence hall is to decorate as soon as possible. They told themself they would do it later when they first moved in, and to quote their words “no, I certainly did not”. If you see Maddie around campus, ask them about their cat, or how much they love Dr. Pepper!
