About Matt

Matt transferred to WSU as a veteran and knew the programs focused on veterans at WSU are some of the best. His favorite class has been University 304, which is a veteran’s transition seminar. He said it really helped to change his mentality between being in the military and switching back to school. Since coming to WSU, Matt said that the connections he has made are invaluable, and specifically the Veterans Student Support Services program have allowed him to become more involved around campus.

Matt wants new cougs to know that you are always in an environment where making friends and getting involved with on campus activities are highly encouraged, and that keeping motivated is the most important thing you can do when transitioning to a college environment.
