About Rymar

Rymar attended La Bienvenida knowing she would be able to meet people who share the same relative background and experiences as her, and loved getting to go home with a predetermined group of individuals who she could connect with when coming to WSU in the fall! This caused her to want to become an OC as a way to show students who may be unsure about attending WSU and showing them this is the place for them. She was immediately welcomed by the spirit of WSU, student centers all around campus, and became hooked on attending the WSU Carson College of Business.

Rymar says she loves WSU because although it’s a small town, the energy of the town gives off “big city energy” whenever there is a campus event, especially on game days. Her favorite restaurant in town is within walking distance of campus, Tokyo Seoul! Ask her what her favorite things to order are! Rymar’s biggest piece of advice is to learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable. University has a multitude of struggles, but if you know how to stay calm and connected, those obstacles become easier to manage.
