About Tieryn

Both of Tieryn’s parents attended WSU, and she knew she would be best off in Pullman when she had to choose a college. Being from a small town (smaller than Pullman!), Tieryn loves the college town atmosphere and getting to experience that here at WSU.

Tieryn’s favorite class so far has been Philosophy of Science, which culminates in a semester long project of trying to figure out what is inside a cardboard box without ever opening it. She found this class incredibly fun. Her favorite experience WSU has offered her though is getting to study abroad in Ireland in 2023, she met some of her closest friends, went sight seeing, and focused on poetry, creative writing, and cultural landscapes.
