About Travis

Travis joined the Coug community and quickly got involved on campus. He is a resident advisor, Co-Ho’Ike Chair for the Kaiaulu I’imi Hawai’I Club, and the Secretary of the Japanese Student Association. His favorite place on campus is the Asian and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Center in the Compton Union Building (CUB). It’s the place where he truly feels himself and where he can be surrounded by like-minded people.

Travis wishes he had known how to step out of my comfort zone earlier in his college career. He says all of the opportunities are available anyone here to become the person they want to be, they just need to take the first one. He encourages new Cougs to explore. College is the best place to grow because college is designed to support students as they find their academic, social, and personal interests.
