About M

Coming to WSU, I was most excited to meet tons of new people and experience fun college moments within the WSU community. I was especially concerned about finances and making sure I found my people within my first year at college, since I graduated high school in three years. With the resources provided by the Washington administration and my wonderful friends and family, I was able to subdue these worries and build confidence in my new identity as a Coug.

My orientation experience gave me the understanding that I could come to college by myself and made me so excited for all the opportunities that came along with that transition. Because my orientation was so amazing, I jumped at the opportunity to make that impact myself. I am an elementary education major with endorsements in reading and phonics. I spend most of my time with friends who have become my Cougar family! I plan to teach abroad after I graduate.

I am super excited to see you all this summer and during Week of Welcome! You got this! Go Cougs!
