Orientation Fees
Students
Student Orientation Registration Fee: $250
This one-time fee can be paid immediately upon registration for orientation programs, or you can have it charged to your student account, and it can be paid along with tuition at the beginning of your first semester.
- Fall Tuition Due: August 21, 2023
Paying with Financial Aid
To ensure that the orientation registration fee will be automatically covered by your financial aid funds, authorize financial aid to pay all charges in your myWSU account.
How to Authorize Financial Aid Coverage of Charges:
- Click “Financial Account”.
- Click “Account Services” drop-down menu.
- Click “View Student Permissions”.
- Select “Grant Permissions”.
- Read the student permissions agreement.
- Click “Next”.
- Check “Yes, I have read the agreement”.
- Click “Submit”.
Family & Supporter Fee(s)
Family & Supporter Fee:
- Age 13+ – $140
- Age 6-12 – $70
- Age 0-5 – No Cost
- Registration will open in late November 2022.
This fee covers orientation materials, meals, workshop presentations, staffing, and other program costs.
Family & Supporter Orientation fees CANNOT be billed to the student account. They must be paid no later than the time of the student’s orientation program.
Refunds and Cancellations
FULL REFUND
- You must call to cancel your reservation at least 5 business days before the orientation program you were registered for.
PARTIAL REFUND
- If you call to cancel after the 5 business day deadline. A $70.00 administrative fee will be assessed against your refund total.
NO REFUND
- Will be granted if you do not call to cancel your reservation or if you cancel the day the program starts.
- Will be granted if you participate in the program and then decide not to attend WSU.
