Student Matriculation Fee: $250
This one-time fee can be paid immediately upon registration for orientation programs, or you can have it charged to your student account, and it can be paid along with tuition at the beginning of your first semester.
Limited New Coug Orientation (NCO) fee waivers are available for students who are in financial need and are fully eligible for the federal Pell Grant. Students, please contact orientation@wsu.edu with your request including your full legal name and WSU ID number. PLEASE NOTE: that your request is not a guarantee. New Student Programs will determine if a student receives an NCO fee waiver according to available funds and Pell eligibility.
The matriculation fee covers services and programs for new students, including orientation/registration programs and Week of Welcome activities. Also included during each orientation program are meals, giveaway items (such as T-shirts and Coug swag), and parking permits for the duration of the program.
To ensure that the matriculation fee will be automatically covered by your financial aid funds, authorize financial aid to pay all charges in your myWSU account.
